The rattle inside is quieter than I expected, which is honestly perfect for the car seat. My toddler shakes it through every red light and it keeps him busy the whole ride.

My 8-month-old grabs this thing the second it's in reach and won't put it down. The rattle inside is loud enough to keep her interested but not so loud that it drives me crazy on car rides.

The internal rattle is perfect for my six-month-old—she lights up every time she shakes it and hears that soft sound. The colors are bright enough to keep her attention during tummy time, and it's survived a few drops already. We're definitely getting our money's worth out of this one.
