Is it a bug? A flashlight? It's both! Flyer the flashlight bug is a child-size flashlight with a removable plush exterior. Light your way through playtime adventures using the on/off button under the wings. Flyer comes with two replaceable AA batteries. To replace the batteries, lift the hook and loop closure located under the wings and pull the fabric covering away from the flashlight face. Twist the head of the flashlight counter-clockwise to access the battery compartment.

My kid loves that the plush bug body is removable—it makes the flashlight easy to clean after outdoor play, and the button underneath is simple for small hands.

The plush bug body comes off and goes straight in the wash, which sold me after one juice incident. Button sits right under the head so little hands find it without looking. It's survived three camping trips already.

My 4-year-old carries this thing everywhere and the on/off button is easy for her little fingers to find. The plush comes off for washing, which I didn't expect to need so soon, but it survived the washer fine.
