The Matching Mushrooms are designed to match the color of the mushroom top to the color on the sorting board. Help baby learn color names and develop their fine motor skills as they sort each mushroom into the board. For emotional learning, identify emotions associated with colors.
My 18-month-old figured out the color matching on her own within a week, and now she grabs a mushroom and yells the color before dropping it in. The pieces are chunky enough that my older kid's tiny toys don't get mixed in, which honestly saves me a lot of stress.
The sorting board is the real winner here — my son figured out the color matching within a week and now he grabs the little mushrooms by the stem and drops them in himself. The mushroom tops are chunky enough for small hands to grip without frustration.
My one-year-old lights up every time she grabs a red or blue mushroom top and finds its matching spot on the board. The color-to-color sorting has already started teaching her basic names, and her grip gets steadier with each try.
