Named for their velvety softness, Growly is part of the Velveteen dinosaur collection. This t-rex measures 14 inches from head to tail. These Velveteen Dinos are weighted, providing extra comfort. Picked as one of the Best Toys from Toy Fair 2020 by Fatherly.
Bought this for my own desk and honestly it's the weighted body that sold me, feels substantial without being heavy. At 14 inches head to tail it sits perfectly against my monitor. The velvety fabric is genuinely soft, not that slick polyester stuff.
I got this for my daughter's birthday and the 14-inch size is perfect for her to drag around by the tail. The weight in the body makes it flop over her arm just right at bedtime, and the velvety fabric has held up through two washes already.
My nephew refuses to sleep without his now—he hugs that 14-inch T-Rex every night and the velvety texture is genuinely soothing to the touch. The weight in the body makes it feel substantial in his arms, not floppy like most stuffed animals.
