Named for their velvety softness, Spike is part of the Velveteen dinosaur collection. Spike Triceratops measures 19 inches from head to tail. These Velveteen Dinos are weighted, providing extra comfort. Picked as one of the Best Toys from Toy Fair 2020 by Fatherly.
The weighted body is a game changer—my daughter actually stays put during bedtime stories now, and the velvety fabric is so soft I keep petting it myself.
The 19-inch length is perfect for my toddler to wrap both arms around, and the weighted body makes it feel like a real hug. The velvety fabric has held up through two weeks of constant squeezing and a couple of washes.
My niece hasn't put this down since her birthday — she drags it around by the tail and it's still soft as anything. The 19-inch size is perfect for her to actually hug, and I like that the weighted body helps her settle at bedtime.
